Tight Lines 208 was recently featured on KIVI Idaho News 6’s “Idaho Backroads” segment. Reporter Lynsey Amundson attended our “All About That Bass” fishing class on April 13 and got the inside scoop on how Tight Lines 208 is helping local anglers build knowledge, confidence and a love of the great outdoors. A big thanks to Lynsey and KIVI, as well as longtime student Mike Lofton, who was interviewed for the story along with owner/instructor Jordan Rodriguez!
JORDAN, WHEN IS ICE OUT TYPICALLY ON LAKE CASCADE? SHOULD BE GOOD FOR PERCH SHOULD,NT IT? THANKS, TK
Hi Tony, sorry, I am just now seeing this. Ice out usually happens sometime in late March or April. And yes, the fishing tends to be pretty good those first couple of months afterward. People are still out there catching them from the bank with bait, or trolling with perch-colored Rapalas. Tight lines!
I have been to 3 of his classes. His information is great and very well presented, I go to learn about local ways of fishing and he is super about all aspects of the sport. I have fished all my life in ponds, rivers and oceans but still learn new things and he gives recommended locations which type of fish to find in this area. Truly a class act.
Thanks Terry! I appreciate you posting! It’s always a pleasure to have you in class. Meeting nice people like you and talking fishing is such a privilege–it is probably my favorite thing about Tight Lines 208.
