Casting for Recovery retreat participants celebrate a nice catch.

Are you or someone you know currently living with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer? If so, Casting for Recovery invites you to apply for their first annual Southwest Idaho metastatic retreat, happening this September 6-8.

Casting for Recovery is a national support and educational program for women with breast cancer. The organization provides free, three-day retreats to women impacted by breast cancer. Not only do participants benefit from the physical and emotional wellness fly-fishing can provide, the retreat also provides a forum to broaden the understanding of breast cancer treatment and enable sharing among participants. An all-female staff of medical and fly-fishing professionals guide you through the weekend held at the beautiful Living Waters Ranch in Challis, Idaho.

“Our team is looking forward to providing an opportunity for women with metastatic breast cancer to gather at our new Casting for Recovery retreat,” says Melissa Seyler, Southwestern Idaho Program Coordinator. “We are pleased to tailor a retreat for this specific group.”

To apply for the Southwestern Idaho Casting for Recovery Metastatic Retreat, visit www.castingforrecovery.org and apply for Southwestern Idaho, or call (888) 553-3500. The application deadline is June 27. Applicants are randomly chosen to attend and will be notified by the Casting for Recovery national office.

The mission of Casting for Recovery is to enhance the lives of women with breast cancer by connecting them to each other and nature through the therapeutic sport of fly-fishing.
